CTE is owned and operated by Jay Hancock, Jay has been in business in the McCook area for more than 20 years with Hancock Sand and Gravel.
In 2004 he started CTE with the goal of providing high quality service at a fair price. Attention to detail is more than a saying at CTE…it’s how we do business.
We are Certified, Insured and Bonded. We have extensive knowledge of the insurance claims process, and we are happy to assist you with the handling of your claim. CTE offers a written guarantee on all our workmanship, because customer satisfaction is that important to us. We make ourselves available to you for any reason…we are just a phone call away.

Our estimators are thoroughly trained in damage identification and will provide you with a FREE ESTIMATE for any of our services. CTE has affordable rates and we work with both residential and commercial customers. Trust us to repair, replace or or begin a new installation on your home or business.
Services Included:
When you are ready for your free initial consultation, contact us. Our estimator will then schedule an appointment to come to your residence. During the consultation our estimator will measure and collect all information needed to prepare an estimate. The estimate will then be presented to you and we will answer any questions you might have. Our estimators are very familiar with the claim process and will help you understand your insurance claim.
After approval of our estimate, we will schedule to have the needed materials for the job delivered to your home or business. Once the materials are delivered work should begin within the next few days.
Installation by our team is usually completed in one to two days for roofing. Other projects are completed in a timely matter depending on the size of the job. We do not require access to the home during the job so you will not need to be home but it is helpful to have a cell phone number in case we need to contact you.
Your estimator will do a final inspection once the job is complete. We have a 3-year written guarantee on all our workmanship. You can trust that the job will be done right the first time, but if you have any problems we will be there to make it right.
